What Is a Scentsy Diffuser?

Introducing The Scentsy Diffuser: The Scentsy Diffuser has many great features (feel free to check out the video). Because the Diffuser uses “cold-mist technology,” the fragrance remains consistent in the way it is diffused throughout the duration of the oil (varying between 4-8 hours). The diffuser also allows for different modes of fragrance intensity.

Did you know, the diffusers offer 16 different light modes? This helps compliment the senses for a full fragrance experience. The Diffuser is also covered by it’s lifetime warranty once you register your product through Scentsy.

How Does It Work

The Scentsy Diffuser is an ultrasonic nebulizing diffuser. Don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it sounds… Essentially, a small ceramic disk in the water reservoir – called a nebulizer – vibrates at high frequencies to break the water and oil down into very small molecular particles. These are mixed together and then diffused into the air for the fragrance of your choice.

Diffuser Safety

Don’t Sweat The Heat: While all those molecules breaking down and combing together may sound complicated and hot, there’s actually no heat dispensed from the diffuser. It is safe to touch because instead of flames, the Scentsy Diffusers uses “cold-mist technology” to emit the fragrances.

One of the great things about the diffusers is that you can mix and max your oils to create unique fragrances and don’t have to worry about replacing the diffuser when your oil runs out (oils come separate from diffusers).

Diffuser Instructions: How To Use

Add water to the reservoir fill line (about 120 mL). We recommend starting with 4-5 drops of oil to start and adding more or less to suit your personal preferences and the size of your space. Did you know that you can actually use other oil (besides Scenty’s) inside your warmer? Though Scentsy Oils have been specifically formulated for an optimal fragrance experience, using other companies’ oils will not harm the Scentsy Diffuser or void the warranty.

Water To Use:

The Scentsy Diffuser is the most advanced diffuser on the market, this means you do not have to use distilled or filtered water. In fact, your average tap water will work just fine. Scentsy recommends that you let the water run for a few seconds (simply because other minerals or items may be in the pipes) and the water be a cooler temperature.

Swapping Out Shades For a New Look

You can purchase seperate Diffuser Shades to make your Base Diffuser unit interchangeable. You choose the look you want.
